Disciplinary Rules TTFSL®


  • Members of TTFSL are expected to report in time for matches as per event rules and regulation. A member or non member who does not show up for the event will automatically face a strict suspension of 2 TTFSL events (not including mini friendlies). Similarly a cancellation after the TTFSL draw is released is a strict suspension of 1 event. If any member or non member has any medical reasons he/she should send doctors certificate/medical papers to the registered email address info@ttfsl.org within 3 days of completion of event. There is no penalty or disciplinary action for anyone cancelling before a draw is released.
  • No member of player of TTFSL should physically or verbally abuse another TTFSL member or non-member or referee. Verbal Abuse includes teasing/mimicking or mocking suggestions on a person’s gender, race or religion or character. A final decision is always taken by the Admin in charge of the event. There is a fine balance between freedom of speech guaranteed under the Indian Constitution and speech which is intended to bring down a person’s morals or character. TTFSL disciplinary members may suo moto investigate a matter which they consider serious.
  • Amended on 14 th April 2023, TTFSL has currently 2 Registered Members Whatsapp Groups for members. The Whatsapp groups are strictly meant as a quick communication between TTFSL and its members and is also used for posting TT related posts of happening around the world. The Registered Members Whatsapp Groups is strictly not for making complaints by any member against TTFSL or it’s committee members or against any other registered members of TTFSL. All complaints of such nature should compulsory be marked by the complainant to the official email address info@ttfsl.org for redressal. A violation under this regulation will invite Disciplinary action under Rule 11.
  • Amended on 14 th April 2023, TTFSL has currently 2 Registered Members Whatsapp Groups for members. The Whatsapp groups are strictly meant as a quick communication between TTFSL and its members and is also used for posting TT related posts of happening around the world. All members of TTFSL should refrain from verbally abusing other members/or making any personal remarks against other members/TTFSL/TTFSL Committee members in the said Registered Members only Whatsapp Groups. In such cases a TTFSL Admin can suo moto immediately remove the person committing the said violation. A violation under this regulation will then invite Disciplinary action under Rule 12.

Disciplinary Committee Constitution, Rules & Regulations TTFSL


  • These Rules set out the procedure to be followed in dealing with complaints referred by the players/members including the committee members of TTFSL. The power of this Disciplinary Committee has been conferred by Board Resolution adopting the disciplinary rules listed below.
  • Disciplinary Committee of TTFSL, conferred with power of hearing, investigation, deduction, suspension and cancellation of membership of TTFSL. The Disciplinary Rules and Regulations came into existence on 6 th August 2021 and the committee is eligible for reelection as per the rules of the Companies Act 2013, under Ministry of Corporate Affairs. No remuneration will be paid to the Disciplinary Committee.
  • TTFSL has chosen the following 3 individuals in the Disciplinary Committee :-

    Mr. Shane Sequeira (Mobile No. 9821009824 )
  • A complaint can be made to ANY one of the 3 committee individuals by way of oral/written within 5 days of the incident and shall be investigated into within 5 days of receipt of the complaint. Similarly the Disciplinary Committee must recognize any violation within 5 days of the incident. Any written complaint must be directed ONLY to the official email address info@ttfsl.org. The Disciplinary Committee receiving the complaint MUST compulsory record the date and time of the said complaint. The complaint must be FINALLY decided upon as per Clauses 7 & 8 within a period of 20 days from the receipt of the complaint.
  • The investigation must include hearing of the complainant in detail by oral or written or by show cause notice, hearing of any witnesses if any, and must have a compulsory hearing of the complainee. A written record of the investigation must be made for record purposes. If the complainee does not cooperate the team must record the same and give ample opportunity to reach out to the complainee to hear his/her side. If there is non-cooperation by the complainee it should be recorded in detail. The investigation report and conclusion has to be dated by the 3 members of the Disciplinary Committee and filed as an official record.
  • IF the complaint is against one of the Disciplinary Committee member themselves, the complainee must absolve himself/herself from the complaint and the investigation as per Points 4 and 5 above shall be dealt with by the other Disciplinary Committee member alone. In such case, the complainee should NOT act in capacity of a Disciplinary Committee member and neither influence the other Disciplinary Committee Members and shall be bound by the judgement and decision of the other Disciplinary committee member and the official record will be signed and dated by 3 Disciplinary Committee members that conducted the investigation.
  • The 3 member team can proceed to either :
    A) Dismiss the complaint if found to be frivolous/fake (in which case the Disciplinary Committee can SUO MOTO take cognizance of such fake/frivolous complaint and proceed to treat the original Complainant as a Complainee and accordingly take such action)
    B) Act judicially on basis of law, fact and good judgement if complaint is found to be a valid one
  • The 3 member team on basis of Point 7 above can
    A) Recommend dismissal/debarment of the Complainee member PERMANENTLY from TTFSL, in which case the Complainee User Id will be blocked permanently.
    B) Recommend SUSPENSION of the Complainee member for a period of time not exceeding 180 days and not less than 30 days from the TTFSL in which case the Complainee User Id will be suspended temporarily.
    C) Act to redress/reconcile the complaint in a manner which is fair to both complainant and complainee even by using joint redress/conference/forum.
  • The record of Clause 7 & 8 above must be in writing and the same must be submitted for record keeping purposes.
  • In case of Clause 8 (A) & (B), a letter/email will be intimated to the complainee member and shall not be an oral communication.
  • Amended 14th April 2023 In case of violation of posting complaints on Registered Members Whatsapp group, the Complainant will be issued Show Cause Notice regarding the same as to why such complaint was made on the Whatsapp Group and not on email. If the reply is not satisfactory before the Disciplinary Committee, the member will be suspended for a period of 30 days and will be removed from the Whatsapp Group for 30 days.
  • Amended 14th April 2023 In case of violation of posting verbal abuses on Registered Members Whatsapp group, the violator will be issued Show Cause Notice regarding the same as to why such verbal abuse was made on the Whatsapp Group and in what context such verbal abuse was made. If the reply is not satisfactory before the TTFSL Disciplinary Committee, the member will be permanently suspended from TTFSL. The discretion of the penalty by the Disciplinary Committee in such case would be purely determined by the nature and language of verbal abuse, the circumstances behind it and the reply of the violating member whether apologetic or not.
  • Disciplinary Committee is not to share their ongoing investigation with any person/member and are expected to use good, prudent and reasonable judgement while addressing the complaint. No bias is to be shown and if the disciplinary committee member has some personal family relation with the complainee, he/she should recuse themselves for the purpose of the investigation to avoid any bias.
  • If the matter were to proceed to Court of law, the Disciplinary Committee will be expected to act as witnesses in the proceedings on behalf of TTFSL before the Court of law and the an investigation report and communication will thus become legal documentation before the Court of law.
  • Since TT Friendly Super League, A Section 8 Company (NGO), is registered in Mumbai, the jurisdiction of any Court will also lie also in Mumbai..
